Your data

User data deletion

You can request the deletion of your Bibleo data at any time. Here's how.

Where your data is stored

Your personal content — profile, favorite verses, collections, progress, notification settings — is stored locally on your device. Bibleo hosts no user account and keeps none of this content on any server.

The app does, however, use third-party advertising measurement and subscription services that receive technical identifiers and usage events (see below).

See the privacy policy for the full list of data involved.

Method 1 — Delete your data from your device

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all Bibleo data stored on your device:

  • Touch and hold the Bibleo icon on your iPhone home screen
  • Tap Delete App, then confirm

Deletion is immediate and irreversible: profile, favorites, collections and progress are erased.

Method 2 — Request deletion by email

If you'd rather we handle the deletion ourselves, or want confirmation that no data about you is being kept, email us:

📧 contact.bibleo@gmail.com

Use “Data deletion request” as the subject. We process every request within 30 days at most and confirm the deletion by email.

Measurement data and third-party services

The app has no account and no sign-in: no identifying data is ever sent to us. Third-party services may, however, receive your advertising identifier and usage events (install, open, purchase):

  • AppsFlyer — install attribution
  • RevenueCat and Superwall — subscription and paywall management

To delete or block this data:

  • Opt out of tracking: iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > turn off permission for Bibleo. No advertising identifier is transmitted from then on.
  • Reset your identifier: iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising, to break the link with any existing history.
  • Through us: email us and we will forward your deletion request to each of our providers.

What we cannot delete

Your purchase and subscription history is handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We have no access to it and cannot delete it. For anything related to it, please contact Apple Support directly.

Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription: go to iPhone Settings > [Your name] > Subscriptions > Bibleo to cancel it.
